Agency Sales Executive, Eleanor Michael shares what attracted her to the role, the solutions she provides for clients and who inspires her most.

Q1. Welcome to Seven! Tell us what attracted you to Seven Affiliate Sales.

I started my career at Seven Affiliate Sales at the beginning of the pandemic, which was a strange time to start in any workforce. Despite the COVID challenges, I found the world of media full of fun, energetic and positive people. This environment encouraged me to learn everything I could and work hard to be successful in my role.

Q2. What does your role as Agency Sales Executive entail?

My role includes managing and implementing campaigns, building genuine and strong client relationships, as well as leading and guiding my team.

Q3. What are the biggest client challenges that you provide solutions?

I think one of the biggest challenges that clients face is not feeling heard. They have campaign objectives that they are trying to achieve, so I always make sure I listen to understand their wants and needs so we can work together towards one goal.

Q4. What commercial trends have you noticed over the past twelve months?

I have noticed clients get very creative with integration and are taking advantage of all Seven’s platforms to launch their advertising campaigns. I worked with Qantas on their relaunch of ‘I Still Call Australia Home’ campaign, which aligned both capital city and regional placements and meant the ad was aired at the same time nationally.

Q5. Outside of work, what keeps you busy, healthy and entertained?

Outside of work I love to catch up with friends for a wine or two, get outdoors and always try something new. Whether its bouldering, a pottery class or hitting up an art gallery, no weekend is the same!

Q6. Who or what inspires you most?

I am lucky to be surrounded by amazing, inspiring people every day. From my colleagues who drive me to work harder, to my Mum that inspires me to be kinder and my friends that encourage me to enjoy life.
